Do I Need A Referral?Top of page.

No. Podiatrists are primary care providers so we do not require a referral. To see a podiatrist at the Geelong Foot Clinic it is as simple as calling our friendly reception staff on (03) 5222 4020 to make an appointment.

What does a podiatrist do?Top of page.

We deal with foot and leg related problems. Refer to our services page for a list of problems that we can assist you with.

What is the waiting list?Top of page.

While we cannot guarantee it we are usually able to make same day appointments. We work hard to ensure everyone is seen as early as possible.

Do you have HICAPS?Top of page.

Yes. Our HICAPS facility allows us to make a claim to your private health fund on the day of treatment so you only need to pay the gap. This saves you the time and hassle of lodging a claim yourself.

Does my Private health fund cover podiatry?Top of page.

All private health funds cover podiatry, however often your level of cover will determine if you are covered. Refer to your health fund’s Product Disclosure Statement or call them directly to find out if you are entitled to podiatry rebates.

Will Medicare cover podiatry?Top of page.

Generally no. However there are circumstances where Medicare will pay a percentage of the fee. This is restricted to those who have had an Enhanced Primary Care Plan lodged with Medicare by their doctor. Only people with chronic medical conditions are eligible and it is the doctor’s sole decision whether or not to do so.

Do you accept credit cards?Top of page.

We have a large range of payment options including cash, Eftpos and credit card. We take all forms of cards except for Diner’s club and American Express. Unfortunately we do not accept personal cheques.

Do you have wheelchair access?Top of page.

Yes. There is a short ramp to the front door with only a slight gradient and the clinic is on a single level.

Is there parking? Top of page.

Yes. We have off street parking at the front of our building. Enter the driveway at 12 Myers St.

Which end of Myers St are you?Top of page.

We are at the Latrobe Terrace end between Latrobe Terrace and Fenwick St.
